Andy Cohen Reacts to Kenya Moore’s Recent ‘Accountability’ Interview: ‘Happy To See That’

Accountability isn’t something we see very often in the world of Bravo. With that in mind, Andy Cohen was thrilled to see Kenya Moore taking accountability for the alleged revenge porn scandal that derailed Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Earlier this month, Kenya sat down on the Tamron Hall Show and admitted that she “didn’t have to take it that far” in her feud with Brittany Eady. It was the first time she spoke about the incident in detail, and in a recent interview, Andy seemed impressed with what he saw.

Andy spoke to Page Six about Kenya’s Tamron Hall interview during Bravo’s FanFest in Miami. During their conversation, he praised Kenya for how she addressed the RHOA scandal.

“I thought it was great,” Andy admitted. “I’ve talked to her a lot over the last few months, and I was happy to see that.”

Unfortunately, Brittany didn’t seem to feel the same way about Kenya’s apology. She didn’t directly address Kenya, but a recent social media post definitely seemed to reference the situation.

“Best part of being authentic, there is no image to maintain. We are all the villain in someone’s story,” Brittany wrote on Instagram.

Does Kenya have a future with RHOA?

Andy’s comments come amid speculation from fans that Kenya could be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta in some way before this all said and done. Although he didn’t comment on Kenya’s future with Bravo, this seems like another positive sign. Plus, Kenya called him a “great support system” throughout this whole ordeal.

“He has called, he has checked on me, he has given me advice. And I feel like he’s a really good friend and I just appreciate the support,” Kenya told Tamron. “That was my family for 12 years. I love them and I feel like they love me, it was just a really unfortunate situation.”

Despite the drama with Kenya causing last-minute chaos with Season 16, Andy teased that the new era of RHOA would be “really good” because they took the time to get the casting right. Even if Kenya doesn’t return to close this chapter, it sounds like we’ll still be thoroughly entertained.

“We were really serious about casting,” Andy teased. “And this season is a very pivotal season for that show. It’s a major crossroads for the show.”
