Some of Angelina Jolie's children have worked with her on entertainment projects, but they have no desire to be in the spotlight.
The award-winning actress and director spoke with Good Morning America's Michael Strahan while promoting her latest movie, Maria, based on the life of the late opera singer Maria Callas.
Strahan asked Jolie if there was anything in her life that compares to the love Callas had for singing.

"My motherhood," she said.
"It's my happiness. You can take everything else away from me ... nothing else matters."
But while Jolie has been a star for decades and her children have different artistic talents and pursuits, she said her kids are fine putting their creativity to use off-screen.
"None of my children want to be in front of the camera," she said.
"They're quite private, [daughter] Shiloh's extremely private. They weren't born with privacy, right, so I hope they can have that as they grow."

Jolie has six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
The Maleficent star's children have worked behind the scenes on some of her projects.
Earlier this year, Jolie worked as a lead producer on The Outsiders on Broadway. Her teen daughter Vivienne worked as a production volunteer assistant on the musical.

Meanwhile Jolie's sons Maddox and Pax worked on her project Without Blood in the assistant director department, which their mum directed.
The leading lady of the film, Hollywood star Salma Hayek Pinault, told People at the Toronto International Film Festival that the boys "work hard".
"They are very serious about what they do," she added.
While her children stay largely out of the spotlight, Jolie has been spotted on a red carpet here and there with her kids.
Most recently, the actress brought her 16-year-old son Knox with her to the 2024 Governors Awards.
The mother-son duo posed arm-in-arm on the red carpet together.
Just a few weeks earlier, Jolie brought her sons Pax and Maddox and daughter Zahara to the screening of Maria in New York City on September 29.
