Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis had their first kiss on the set of That ‘70s Show when their on-screen characters began dating. It would take a few more years after the end of the show and a few relationships in between before the two actors reconnected to find love.
Though, things aren’t always perfect, even for a storybook Hollywood romance, and the couple has been embattled by scandals and rumors as of late.
Are Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Still Together?
As rumors of Ashton’s attendance at Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ notorious parties surfaced following the bombshell arrest of the “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” singer, fans speculated that the drama would drive a wedge between Mila, 41, and Ashton, 46.
However, after the friendship between The Guardian star and the accused sex trafficker was brought into the light and under the microscope, wife Mila made a point of shutting down any breakup gossip as the two attended a Los Angeles Rams’ game against the Chicago Bears on September 29.
The couple was all smiles and reassured onlookers their relationship was firmly intact.
How Did Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Meet?
Both Mila and Ashton were cast as part of an ensemble crew for That ‘70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006. They never dated during filming, but costar Debra Jo Rupp claimed to see a “spark” between the two during their time with the show.
They shared their first kiss during a scene – which was actually Mila’s first kiss ever.
“I was like, ‘Oh, he’s so cute, it’s the Calvin Klein model!’ ” the Black Swan actress said. “Then I was like, ‘I have to kiss him?’ I was so nervous and uncomfortable. I had the biggest crush on him.”
What Issues Have Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Faced in Their Relationship?
The couple has been embroiled in multiple scandals recently, enough to strain any marriage.
When their friend and fellow That ‘70s Show alum Danny Masterson was convicted on two counts of rape in May 2023, Mila and Ashton sent a tone-deaf letter of support for Masterson, 48, to the sentencing judge.
“He was their friend for many years and in that time, they became close to Danny’s family. That’s not an easy bond to break,” a source previously told In Touch about the relationship between the convicted rapist and the married couple.
They released an awkward video apologizing for sending the letter, but only after facing some major backlash from fans.
The Diddy Connection
Ashton, along with many other celebrities, were caught in a media dragnet of guilt-by-association following the arrest of Diddy on September 16. The singer has pleaded not guilty to the charges. While no untoward speculations have been proven about Ashton’s relationship with Combs, he has himself called the singer a friend and admitted to attending some of Combs’ parties, which are being examined closely as a potential medium for the disgraced mogul’s alleged abuse.
The storm got so bad for the couple they’re even considering moving to Europe to lay low for a while.
“First it was Danny Masterson and now it’s Diddy, and it’s got [Ashton] convinced that there are way better places out there to live than Hollywood,” a second source previously told In Touch.
