ASHLEY Cain is getting ready to become a father for the third time.

The star announced his happy news on November 21, 2024.

Reality star Ashley Cain has shared his joy about becoming a father for a third time.

The former footy ace lost his first child Azaylia - whom he shared with ex Safiyya Vorajee - in April 2021.

He has since welcomed a son called Aliyas Diamond on January 16, 2024, and now he has another one on the way.

Announcing the news in a heartfelt Instagram post, Ashley wrote: "My little girl will soon have another little brother to watch over, and my little boy will not only be a baby brother but a big brother too.

"With all the heartache I’ve been through, I’m truly grateful that I can really start counting my blessings again!

It’s not known when his second son will be born.

But fans think they have worked out the due date after spotting a clue on his Instagram post. 

Several people in the comments are saying that they zoomed in and could see that the scan was done in June 2024.

This means it will likely be born around six months after the date of the scan. 

Ashley’s relationship status

Ashley has kept quiet about whether he is in a relationship with the mother of his third child.

As of November 2024, it is understood that he is single.

His last long term relationship was with Azaylia’s mother, Safiyya.

Who is Aliyas’ mother?

Ashley has never revealed the identity of Aliyas' mother and it's unclear if his unborn child has the same mum.

When his first son was born, he confirmed that he was not in a relationship with his mother, but said that she was a “close friend”

Speaking about her, Ashley told The Sun: "I got a call from a girl I was seeing who I have known since I was 18.

"We are friends and have met up on and off over the years.

"She is a really nice person and good to be around. I got a message saying that she needed to speak to me so I went to see her and she told me she was pregnant — I can't put into words how that felt.

"The thought of potentially having another child after losing one was very difficult to understand for me."

Past relationship with Safiyya

Ashley dated Safiyya Vorajee from around 2018 until 2022.

She is a qualified dental nurse and aesthetic practitioner who owns her own cosmetics business called Mz Pretty.

Safiyya and Ashley confirmed their split in March 2022, just a year after the heartbreaking death of their daughter Azaylia.

A source told The Sun at the time: "No one knows how something so tragic can affect a couple, and it's been incredibly painful for them to make this decision.

"They will always love and support each other, and still live together, but the romantic side of their relationship has come to an end."

Safiyya and Ashley then confirmed they had ended their relationship a few months prior, saying in a joint statement that they would "love, care and support each other forever."

Ashley has spoken about the moment he had to tell Safiyya about his new baby.

He said: "It was painful for Safiyya but it was also painful for me as well to talk to Saffiya.

"Safiyya and I haven't been together for a while now and it is inevitable that at some stage people are going to move on with their lives — that doesn't mean that we can't be friends and have an amazing relationship."

He added: "I know Safiyya will always support me and I will always be there to support Safiyya. 

"It wasn't an easy conversation or filled with smiles but it was a conversation that had a lot of truth and respect."

Azaylia’s sad passing

Safiyya and Ashley's daughter Azaylia Diamond was born in August 2020.

She was tragically diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia when she was just two months old.

After months of sharing their baby's heartbreaking health journey online, Ashley and Safiyya announced on April 25, 2021, that Azaylia had passed away.
