The 53-year-old presenter is best known for her role on the BBC morning show after she became a permanent member of the cast in 2021 following Louise Minchin’s exit.
Since then, she has gone from strength to strength hosting the daily show with her co-host Jon Kay from Monday to Wednesday.
Last year, the mum-of-one stepped away from the BBC studios when she took part in the festive special of Strictly Come Dancing.
Now, the broadcaster has revealed another exciting career opportunity which will force fans to do a double take.

On Wednesday (October 23), the brunette beauty shared a snap of herself on the infamous CBeebies Bedtime Stories set where she could be seen engaged in a children’s book.
She rocked a white button-down shirt which she teamed with a pair of black wide leg trousers and a pair pf leopard print high heels.
But she isn’t the first famous face to make an appearance on the long-standing TV show. Other celebrities who have made appearances on the children’s programme include Tom Hardy, Chris Evans, Isla Fisher and Rosamund Pike.
Stepping away from Hollywood, other familiar faces include TV favourites David Tennant, Dame Maureen Lipman and Suranne Jones.

Some of the biggest names in music history have also sat down to read a children’s book on the show including Harry Styles, Dolly Parton and Dave Grohl.
Since 2002, at 6.50pm, the BBC channel has broadcast someone reading a bedtime story to wrap up their busy day of programming.
In the early years, it was usually a familiar face of British TV reading out the short tale, with the likes of Terry Wogan or Michael McIntyre.
But in 2016, Tom Hardy changed the nature of the show when he made his debut on the heart-warming programme. CBeebies Bedtime Stories has become “22-year overnight success” according to its executive editor John Harkins.

Speaking about the actor’s first appearance, he told the GQ: “He approached us through his agent in September 2016, and that December, we went to Blake’s Hotel in central London.
“He had all the time in the world: he brought his dog Woody along and read five different books across the day. We moved [between] room; he had some lunch in between.
“He was a dad who read stories to his children anyways, and he wanted to do something they could watch – his kids couldn’t watch his films [because they were too young].”
