Strictly Come Dancing dazzled viewers as it kicked off on Saturday night, with another duo set to hang up their dancing shoes.
However, all eyes were initially elsewhere as minutes into the live show, fans were completely taken by Tess Daly's sartorial choice.
The past few weeks saw celebrities and professional dancers waltzing through special themes like Halloween and Icons, but now they're back to regular programming for the evening of 9 November.
Tess Daly, alongside co-host Claudia Winkleman, graced the screen to host the much-loved BBC dance contest, welcoming judges and the contestants primped and primed for the night's dance-offs.
But from the word go, viewers were transfixed by Tess's shiny one-shoulder green number, which stole the spotlight as quickly as she glided onto the stage.
Social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, saw swift reactions to Tess's ensemble, with touching praise to tongue-in-cheek jests trending across feeds.
Some admirers lavished compliments: "Tess you look so beautiful my darling", others poured affection: "I'm in love with Tess' dress" and more appreciation followed, "Tess looks lovely tonight."
Contrasting views cropped up, likening Tess's dress to a 'Quality Street wrapper', with comical takes: "Tbh Tess wearing a dress inspired by Quality Street wrapper every week brings me comfort."
Another quipped, "Is Tess a lizard??" and yet another dubbed her getup a "frocky horror".
Last week, Strictly bade farewell to Olympic hockey champ Sam Quek, who was the sixth star to leave this series during the Icons Week.
She and her professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin channelled their inner Taylor Swift for the themed evening, but their American Smooth only scored 29, failing to impress the judges.
In the dance-off, Sam and Nikita faced former Gladiator Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe, who reprised their Waltz to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.
All four judges chose to back Montell after their performance, leading to a farewell for Sam.
With just nine couples remaining, the competition is certainly heating up. Who will be next to leave?
Strictly Come Dancing continues every Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
