BBC Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts were left enthralled by professional dancer Carlos Gu's sensational routine on Sunday evening.
The results show saw an outstanding and ghostly performance by the pros, with a show-stopping Beetlejuice-themed spectacle led by the formidable Carlos.
In the essence of Halloween, Carlos transformed into the mischievous ghost, donning iconic black and white stripes, electrifying green hair, and ghoulish makeup to perfect his embodiment.
Twitter erupted with praise for Carlos and the bewitching performance. A fan exclaimed: "Carlos has won Hallowe'en #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
Others shared their delight, saying: "Loved that routine brilliantly led by Carlos!! #Strictly," and another added affirmatively: "Nothing to see here. Just Carlos showing us why he should've been partnered up this year," as reported by the Mirror.
Another was captivated, posting: "Carlos did a star turn as Beetlejuice. Amazing! #Strictly."
An admirer succinctly said: "Carlos slayed #strictly," while another claimed: "Carlos has stole the show this weekend #strictly."
Carlos also created a buzz on Saturday night by imitating show host Claudia Winkleman in a spooky homage during the Halloween special.
His costume featured a wig that perfectly replicated Claudia's well-known fringe, creating a startling twin-like illusion.
Viewers expressed their amazement, with someone asking: "Who's that other 'Claudia'? #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly."
Another fan was clearly thrilled, tweeting: "Carlos dressed as Claudia is amazing! #Strictly," while another viewer remarked: "There are two Claudia's, I had to take two #strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
Tonight's showdown will see two celebrities dance it out in a bid to remain in the competition. They'll face the tense dance-off, with the judges' votes deciding who stays and who goes home.
The celebrity with the least backing will have to leave the dance floor.
Last weekend, JB Gill and Paul Merson competed against each other, but ultimately, the judges saved JLS' JB and his partner Amy Dowden.
In an unexpected twist, Amy was absent from the results show due to a sudden illness backstage.
BBC chiefs immediately summoned emergency services, and Amy was whisked away to the hospital for care. Speaking on her behalf, Amy's representative said: "Amy was feeling unwell, so an ambulance was called as a precaution.
"She is feeling much better now and wants to express her gratitude to the Strictly family for their love and concern. We ask that Amy's privacy regarding her health be respected."
Strictly Come Dancing returns next Saturday on BBC One.
