Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Nick Knowles fights to fully recover from an arm injury. The DIY SOS host took to social media today to flaunt his new support system, weeks after initially injuring his arm in a freak accident while changing a tyre on his car before Strictly rehearsals.
In addition to this, Nick also suffered a knee injury during training for the BBC series.
Nick displayed his new knee and arm braces and informed his Instagram followers: "New Robocop knee and arm braces. Getting mobile again and may not need the knee op for a while as it's getting so strong with the braces."
He had previously revealed that he needed two surgeries on his arm and leg due to injuries incurred during his time on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 62-year-old was the third celebrity to be voted off the 20th anniversary series of the popular BBC One dance show last month.
His departure occurred just hours after Nick returned to the dance competition. He had missed Movie Week due to a knee injury.

Appearing on an episode of Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two following his exit from the show, Nick's professional partner, Luba Mushtuk, was moved to tears as they watched a touching montage of their best moments on the show.
In an emotional moment, Luba, 34, uttered "Yes" before regaining her composure. She thanked her dance partner by saying, "Thank you, thank you for being you and for being an incredible student. I loved every single moment. We'll still dance again."
In the interview, Nick disclosed his need for two surgeries due to injuries sustained during the BBC competition.
Once healed, he intends to return to dance practice for his upcoming nuptials and revealed that his professional partner, Luba, will design his first dance with fiancee Katie Dadzie.

"I think it was the right result in the end and it means I can get the various bits falling off sorted. I'm having an operation on my arm this week and an operation on my knee in a couple or three weeks," he confided.
Expanding on this, he noted, "I had a week off and you can see actually everyone had progressed a lot in that week. I just didn't have time to be able to catch up and do well enough to stay in the competition."
Nick has since confirmed as a result of his injuries he will not be making any future appearances on Strictly.
