BBC Strictly's Anton Du Beke sparks frenzy as he welcomes new family addition

Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke took to Instagram with a rare glimpse of his life away from the BBC screens.

The dancer shared a clip from the garden of his Buckinghamshire country home, which featured his seven-year-old twin children, George and Henrietta.

Speaking to his fans, Anton shared: “As you know, Hannah and I are all about the twins and we’d like to introduce you to two new members of the family."

As the camera panned down to the adorable puppies, the 58-year-old continued: “Please meet Fox and Trot.”

He turned to his kids and asked: “What do you think?” To which an enthusiastic George exclaimed: “I think they’re amazing,” while they gleefully embraced the newcomers.

When asked which dog was theirs, George quickly claimed Fox, while Henrietta confirmed Trot was hers as they gently played with the pups.

In the caption, Anton addressed his Strictly appearance alongside fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood, during which they dressed up in matching costumes inspired by The Shining (1980).

He wrote: “I know that Craig and my outfits as the twins from The Shining were slightly unsettling on Saturday night.

“So I thought I’d share some cute twins that have joined our family to readdress the balance…. Meet Fox and Trot.”

Anton’s followers took the comments and gushed over the puppies including Strictly pro Carlos Gu, who penned: “This is so cute!!!”

Gorka Márquez exclaimed: “OMG,” alongside heart-eyes emojis, while Luba Mushtuk shared red-heart emojis.

One fan @michellebourne269 praised: “Love the names, very apt. Gawgus puppies, they really are beautiful.”

As @chrissyg1926 echoed: “Love their names and they are gorgeous, as are your children xx bless them.”
