Claudia Winkleman has shed light on her "favourite meal of all time" - and it includes one divisive choice. The 52-year-old, who last week returned to our screens in a new BBC series of The Traitors, previously opened up about her dinner preferences when asked about go-to "cheat meals".

While Claudia completely disagreed with the idea of labelling something a 'cheat', she revealed that roast chicken, crispy potatoes and horseradish were among her favourites, in addition to a vegetable side and two courses to follow.

Among the latter, she'd reportedly opt for an Italian cheese so strong in flavour, it's bound to split opinions. "Buttery peas [too]," she told Marie Claire at the time. "...Then a cheese board that WILL include Gorgonzola, and then probably Tiramisu."

Albeit delicious, roast chicken and vegetables like peas are among what's often dubbed 'clean foods'. This title generally encompasses healthy products that aren't processed, meaning they likely haven't gone through any chemical treatment.

Last year, research from the US-based Cleveland Clinic warned that eating processed meat is one of the main drivers of young-onset colorectal cancer. So, 'cleaner' alternatives are far more beneficial for long-term health.

In a previous interview with the Mirror, Helen Bell, a nutritionist at the UK Care Guide, explained: "These foods are typically lower in calories and higher in essential nutrients compared to processed foods. They provide fibre, which aids in digestion and helps maintain a feeling of fullness.

"In my experience, clients who switch to a diet rich in these foods often [also] find it easier to manage their weight because they are consuming more nutrient-dense calories that support overall health and metabolism."

Beyond food, Claudia also previously revealed that cycling within spin classes was her favourite way to exercise. During the 2022 conversation, the Strictly Come Dancing host continued: "I definitely have a favourite way, my favourite thing is to do spin because I’m locked into the bike, so I can’t leave. Because anything else, I will leave. I don’t like sweating, I don’t like pain, I can’t get my head around any of it."
