Several influencers have used social media to raise awareness of their fight against cancer, such as Bella Bradford, a 24-year-old American who died on October 15 after failing to overcome terminal cancer. She told her story through TikTok and left an emotional message before she died.

What did Bella Bradford say before she died?

In 2021, Bradford was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a malignant tumour of the muscle tissue that eventually affected her jaw. Through TikTok, she shared beauty, styling and cancer videos, and was particularly known for her "Get Ready With Me" videos, in which she showed how she was dressed that day. However, in the last video of this type, which has already been viewed more than 6 million times, she left a very emotional farewell message.

The influencer began the video by saying: "I wanted to do one last 'Get Ready With Me' because I love doing this and I love fashion. Thank you for following me on this fun journey, and yes, I hope you watch all my videos and find a little bit of joy in your day if you ever need to feel it."

Alongside the video, the content creator's entourage shared the message Bradford wrote before she died: "Thank you for all your love and support during my last few months of life, I am very, very grateful. Recording these types of videos gave me a sense of purpose in connecting with a kind community of people".

She concluded the post by saying: "I wish you all a beautiful life and please remember to live each day as meaningfully as the next. What a privilege it is to grow old. I feel fulfilled for being myself on TikTok, sharing my love of life and fashion".
