Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus have won the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the Cowboy Carter track “II Most Wanted.” They beat out songs by Brothers Osborne (“Break Mine”), Dan + Shay (“Bigger Houses”), Kelsea Ballerini & Noah Kahan (“Cowboys Cry Too”), and Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen (“I Had Some Help”).

This is Beyoncé’s first year being nominated in the ceremony’s country music categories. In addition to Record, Song, and Album of the year, she’s also up for Best Country Solo Performance for “16 Carriages” and Best Country Song for “Texas Hold ’Em.” Last year, Miley Cyrus took home her first-ever trophies, winning Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Flowers.”

Last year, Cowboy Carter was shut out from nominations for the 2024 Country Music Awards. Read about Beyoncé’s “II Hands II Heaven” on “The 100 Best Songs of 2024,” and follow along with all of Pitchfork’s coverage of the 2025 Grammys.
