The world’s best female tennis players are in Malaga, Spain this week for the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup. Originally called the Federation Cup, the international team tennis competition changed its name in 2020 in honor of activist and former World No. 1 Billie Jean King.
Twelve countries qualified for this year’s event, with all of them looking to claim the trophy from Team Canada, which took home the win in the 2023 finals. The 2024 Billie Jean King Cup runs takes place from November 13 to 20.
