Bonnie Tyler, born Gaynor Sullivan, is a 73-year-old Welsh singer known for her husky voice and her biggest hit 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'.
Bonnie rose to fame in the late 1970s with her 1977 album The World Starts Tonight. The singles, 'Lost in France' and 'More Than a Lover' were particularly popular.
Her single 'It's Heartache', which featured on her album Natural Force, reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, and number three on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Later on, the Welsh singer saw success in the 1990s in Europe with songwriter Dieter Bohlen who wrote 'Bitterblue'. She also represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013.
Before having a successful singing career, Bonnie grew up in Skewen, Neath, Wales in a four-bedroom council house with three sisters and two brothers.

Despite her success, Bonnie hasn't strayed far from her roots, now living in Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea Bay with her husband, property developer Robert Sullivan.
The couple have no children and have invested in property across the globe including 22 homes in Berkshire and London and a farm in New Zealand.
The couple also owns a five-bedroom home in Albufeira, Portugal in the Algarve. It's thought Bonnie splits her time between South Wales and Portugal with the singer claiming she "loves" the Gower coast.
She told the BBC last year: "I love Mumbles and the Gower coast."
"When we get the weather you couldn't be in a better place. I always loved it down this way and I like keeping close to my family."
