Travis Kelce and his teammate Patrick Mahomes were the victims of house burglaries last month, it's been reported.
TMZ Sports alleges that the break-in at Mahomes' Kansas City-area luxury mansion in Belton, Missouri was first reported around midnight on October 6.
Just hours later on October 7, Kelce's plush $6million home in Leawood, Kansas is said to have been targeted - the same day the Chiefs triumphed over the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium with Taylor Swift cheering from the stands. The report suggests $20,000 in cash was nicked from Travis' house, along with damage to his back door.
It remains unclear if anything was taken from Mahomes' property, with the FBI currently probing both incidents. The burglary at Kelce's property was reported to police sometime on October 8.
The Chiefs pair may well have fallen prey to a larger crime wave in the Kansas City area last month, adds TMZ's report. The involvement of the FBI reportedly indicates it's not just a local burglary spree, suggesting it could involve organised crime crossing state lines.
Swift was rooting for Kelce and Mahomes in Kansas City's Monday Night Football clash with New Orleans on the day her boyfriend's home was burgled.
