Britney Spears is updating fans on her safety amid the L.A. wildfires that continue to burn throughout the city.
On Thursday, January 9, the 43-year-old pop princess posted an Instagram Reel for her 41.9 million followers showcasing a pair of bedazzled pink doll shoes. In the caption, she revealed that she had evacuated her $7.4 million home in Thousand Oaks, California, and was en route to a hotel.
"I hope you are all doing OK !!! I had to evacuate my home and I'm driving 4 hours to a hotel !!!" Spears wrote.
The "Toxic" singer noted she was left without power and had not been on her phone in two days.
"Most people may not even be on their phones !!! I wasn't the past two days because I had no electricity to charge and Ijust got my phone back !!! I pray you're all doing well and I send my love 🌹 !!!" she penned.
The "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker also explained that she reposted the video of doll shoes — originally taken by Eiko Kollander — to brighten people's moods.
"I'm posting these adorable shoes to lift people's spirits !!!" she wrote.
The Grammy Award-winning singer recently reunited with her son Jayden over the holidays but did not specify if she evacuated with him. Spears shares Jayden, 18, and his older brother, Sean, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Spears marked the joyous reunion with an Instagram post sharing a video of herself hugging and kissing Jayden, calling him her "baby."
The singer-songwriter captioned her post, "Best Christmas of my life !!! I haven't seen my boys in 2 years !!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed !!! I'm speechless thank you Jesus !!!"
The Southern California wildfires began on Tuesday, January 7, and have resulted in over 100,000 residents of Los Angeles being ordered to evacuate. Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Barbara Corcoran, and Leighton Meester are just a handful of the A-listers who have lost their homes.
