Brittney Griner Shares First-Ever Glimpse at 4-Month-Old Son Bash

Brittney Griner and her wife, Cherelle, just unveiled a major moment for fans: the first look at their 4-month-old son, Bash.

The 33-year-old WNBA star and Cherelle, 32, shared the sweet family moment during an interview with CBS Mornings on Tuesday, November 26. In the photo, the couple stands proudly beside Bash's crib, holding their baby boy dressed in skeleton pajamas and a black cap.

"Family shoots have become a team effort around here," Cherelle shared with the outlet. "It's a series of smiles, tears, feeding and naps. We love every second and can't wait to take our first Christmas picture as a family."

Fans on social media got a further treat with Brittney posting candid moments from Bash's nursery. One photo showed the trio during feeding time in a plush white chair.

"Bash may have the best room in the house," the professional basketball star captioned a carousel of images on Instagram, noting she and Cherelle "Both fall asleep with Bash at night in that chair and wake up without any aches and pains! That's a plus in my book!"

Continuing with her post, Brittney gushed over Bash's nursery, which was designed by Crate & Kids. "We love every detail from his amazing book wall collection to his comfortable crib! He sleeps like a big man in his room alone 💤," she shared.


Shortly after the photos hit the internet, it didn't take long for fans to flood the comments section with love and compliments.

"OMG beautiful baby boy!!! So adorable and great family. Happy holidays," one person exclaimed.

"Aww baby Bash sweet smile ❤️❤️❤️," another swooned.

"That nursery looks fabulous!" a third chimed in.

"Wishing you both happiness and joy with Baby Bash! He is going to open you both up in ways you never could imagine for feel❤️❤️❤️❤️," said another.

The lovebirds, who married in 2019, welcomed their son on Monday, July 8. Brittney confirmed Bash's arrival while speaking with CBS Sports before the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

"That's my man. He is amazing," the gold medalist told the publication at the time. "They said as soon as you see them, everything that you thought mattered just goes out the window. That's literally what happened." She admitted balancing motherhood with her career hasn't been easy. "It kind of sucks because I have to leave, but at the same time, he will understand," she said.
