Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt have been pals since they were little. Their friendship has continued to ebb and flow over the years. However, when Spencer began dating Heidi Montag, he wound up starring alongside Brody on The Hills. Here, their friendship continued to rise and fall for several seasons on MTV, but now that this series is over and everyone involved has grown up, Brody cannot help but sing the praises of all things Spencer.

Spencer came onto this series and played his role well. Therefore, fans eagerly tuned in every week to hate-watch the newest reality television villain, who also made people laugh. But as Brody explains, everything Spencer did was to help create waves for The Hills. So now, he thanks Spencer for his service.

Spencer Pratt came onto The Hills with a plan, and his plan paid off, states Brody Jenner

Spencer is back in the news following the devastating loss of his home to the LA wildfires. Every time we open an app, there he is, supporting his city and his beloved wife. Following their loss, Spencer began heavily promoting the music Heidi produced many years ago. In response, his fans crawled out of every hole possible, sending Heidi soaring on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes within days.

Brody explained recently on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show that Spencer has a gift in this arena. When his friend has a goal in sight, he will stop at nothing until this goal gets realized. Brody learned this during their stints on Princes of Malibu in 2005, stressing, “Spencer was sort of the mastermind behind that. He loves producing. He is an incredible producer.”

When Spencer joined Brody on The Hills in 2007, Brody revealed that Spencer came on board with a goal. According to Brody, Spencer wanted “to be the most hated person in the world.” Thanks to his antics, The Hills soared in popularity, and Brody gives Spencer all the credit.

Spencer had a vision, which is “why that show did so well,” Brody stressed. Spencer created drama, and “he was such a good producer. He was secretly producing [storylines] behind the scenes, so he’s a brilliant guy,” Brody added.

Spencer deserves to be back in the spotlight, Brody ended, noting that it is nice to see his childhood pal “get the sort of recognition that he deserves, ’cause he’s come so far.”
