Cam'ron to Elliott Wilson: ‘You Look Like a Sloppy Sandwich’

Cam'ron had time for Elliott Wilson over the comments he made about the rapper jumping into journalism.

On the latest episode of Talk With Flee, Cam had Wilson on as a special guest, and they participated in a debate session. The first question was about Wilson saying on the Rory & Mal Show last year that Cam is "running around like Stephen A. Smith" regarding his work on the sports talk show It Is What It Is. At the time, Wilson felt too many celebrities, rappers, and athletes were calling themselves journalists without actually doing the work.

According to Wilson, he was wrong for making that statement and acknowledged how much work and time Cam put in with his sports talk show platform. He talked about Cam investing his own money into the show to give it an ESPN-like quality.

However, the Harlem native wouldn't let Wilson off that easy.

"When I'm looking at Elliott now, I didn't know your face look like pepperjack turkey, like the texture of your skin looks like pepperjack turkey," said Cam at around the 5:30 mark. "It look like you sweat duck sauce. You look like a sloppy sandwich in the face. Pause, man. My bad, I never really looked at you like that."

He continued, "As far as what Elliott said, I'm not running around trying to be anybody but myself. As far as comparing me to Stephen A. Smith, I take that as a compliment because he's kind of the standard. He's in negotiations for a $100 million deal over a certain amount of years. He's basically the standard when it comes to getting money in this field. And not only is he a standard but he's a black man from New York like I am."

Cam added that he didn't take offense to Wilson's statement and was rather confused about where the legendary hip-hop journalist was going with his take. Wilson also said his comments against Cam were a learning experience in that the journalism game is all about adjusting to the ever-changing landscape.

The start of the week has been fiery for Cam as he also took time out on Monday to address the comments Jim Jones had about him and Mase's decades-long relationship. During his diatribe, Cam claimed Jones never grew up with him and that he was more of a fan who was trying to get on by any means necessary.
