A photo of singer Camila Cabello has gone viral as it shows the Havana hitmaker performing to a near-empty arena in a snap shared to social media

Camila Cabello has become a hot topic online after a photo of her performing to a seemingly sparse crowd went viral. The image, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), shows Camila, 27, on stage with her back to the camera, facing a thin audience.

The picture was reportedly taken at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, January 19. A source clarified to the Mirror that the gig was a corporate event and only a limited number of tickets were available to the public, as most were reserved for sponsors.

"The tickets that were made available sold out", the source revealed. They also added that half the seats weren't used because "that wasn't the intention of this show or what they wanted".

The event was part of the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!, a travelling music festival where Camila headlined one evening, reports the Mirror.

Other performers included Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Muni Long, and 2 Chainz. An insider told the DailyMail that the performance was a "corporate event" and "only a small amount of tickets were on sale and those sold out".

It's believed the leftover tickets were snapped up by sponsors. The songstress excitedly announced her gig, sharing a snap of the event's poster on X and captioning it: "atlanta come see me january 19 at #ATTPlaylistLive during @CFBPlayoff with @MylesSmithUK and @musicbyknox! more info at http://collegefootballplayoff.com/ppl #CFBPlayoff #NationalChampionship".

As X user @dieforyous broadcasted the concert pic, they couldn't help but jest: "CAMILA CABELLO EMPTY ARENA SHOW LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO".

Yet, the internet was ablaze with varied takes on Camila's show. One fan lamented: "camila, I'm so sorry but someone has to say it.. your career is in shambles.. and it's because of your TEAM... I'm also sorry to say this but it's embarrassing.. the seats are nearly empty... this show also got NO PROMOTION.... it's time to do something.."

Another quipped that it looked "camila cabello's show gonna be looking more like a half-empty karaoke night than a concert," while a third bluntly called out: "hat s**t was EMPTY. Oh Camila Cabello the flop you are".

Still, some rallied behind the star, with a supporter claiming: "Camila Cabello performed in a nearly empty arena in Atlanta on Sunday, and photos from the show went viral on X. Despite the small crowd, she didn't cancel. Dedication! ".
