Cardi B recently addressed a few misconceptions that arose after she went live. In a new X (formerly Twitter) video, the rapper explained her “men can’t handle boss b—-” comment. She revealed that blogs took this comment completely out of context, resulting in criticisms against her. The star clarified what she had exactly talked about during the live and how that was seemingly misconstrued by publications.
Cardi B is setting the record straight once and for all. After replying to a few comments that misinterpreted her “boss b—-” statement, the rapper clapped back at the criticism in an over 14-minute video on X (formerly Twitter). Recalling the statements she made during the previous live, Cardi B explained how she meant that some “men can’t handle dating a boss b—-” as it would play on their insecurities.
Another point she had made was that men cannot “have their way” while dating a “boss b——.” Cardi B remembered sharing an anecdote when a man told her he would rather date 6, 7, or 8s than 10s because of this reason. She then revealed that her statements were taken out of context. Before putting out the clarification, the rapper even responded to a publication that had misinterpreted her comments.
While clarifying her comments, Cardi B responded to a user who thought the rapper was calling herself a 10. The singer made it clear that she never said it. However, it didn’t mean she didn’t think of herself as a 10. She proceeded to list everything she liked about herself in response to the hate comment. The Grammy Award winner also shut down comments that called her a “pick me.”
Cardi B then addressed hate comments towards her cosmetic procedures. She said fans were finding a way to hate her just because she loves herself. She also took a dig at comments that were directed at her getting cheated on in a relationship. The rapper said, “What a n—- do at his time doesn’t take away your beauty, doesn’t take away your brain, doesn’t take away your p—- power, or nothing.” Later, Cardi B claimed that the world fell in love with her because she was confident in herself.
