Cardi B is once again proving she’s as unapologetic as ever, as she recently silenced skeptics with proof of her latest body modification. After fans expressed doubt over her claim that she had pierced her gluteal cleft, the rapper took to social media to settle the debate in the most Cardi way possible—by posting receipts.
On Monday (Jan. 27), the “Like What” rapstress declared to her 36,000,000 followers on X that she had gotten her “butt crack pierced.” The bold claim sparked an immediate reaction, with many questioning whether she was serious or simply trolling.
In a follow-up post, the mother-of-three shared an up-close shot of her lower back, revealing two diamond dermals placed adjacent to each other. In response to a x thread titled “photo or it didn’t happen,” Cardi posted her piercing with the caption: “Do I lie?”
Fans immediately flooded the comments with mixed reactions as some praised her for her bold choice, and others deemed the piercing downright “disgusting.”
“You are such a disgusting human being,” wrote one person as another harshly said, “Bi**hes lose they ni**a and start doing anything.” A third person also insinuated that she was seeking her estranged husband’s attention. “This tweet screams ‘lemme show offset what he’s missing out on,'” they wrote.
On the flip side, others admired her new body jewelry. “It’s kute. Don’t get doodoo near it, gf,” joked another, as a fourth person commented, “Why this eats.”
This latest piercing is just another addition to Cardi’s growing collection, which already includes piercings on her ears, nose, lip, chest, belly button, and eyebrow. It also comes just four months after welcoming her third child, a baby girl who’s name she has yet to reveal.
