Carol Vorderman has admitted she’s scaling back her working life after her sudden health scare.
The star admitted that although her health scare didn’t uncover anything serious, it made her rethink her work-life balance.
Now, the blonde bombshell has opened up about the changes she is making to her life during an interview with Amanda Holden on Heart FM.

On Wednesday (October 23), she told listeners: “I was working seven days a week but oh, my lovely LBC, I’m missing them so much. I had the Sunday show on LBC and it was doing brilliant and all that kind of thing.
“But what it means is, people go, ‘Oh, you work weekends. Do you take Monday and Tuesday off?’ Yeah right, like that happens, so it was constant.”
It was at this point that the broadcaster shared her terrifying hospital dash which pushed her to reconsider her current workload. She explained: “And then about a month ago I had a little chest tightening.
"So I went to hospital and thankfully there’s no underlying issue. But I thought, ‘Do you know what? I’ll go back to five days a week like normal people do’. And actually, I found I can create a lot of mischief at weekends."

“Carol’s show has been an essential Sunday listen and while we know many people will miss her, we look forward to having her back on LBC from time to time, soon.”
Carol had been covering Sunday’s 4pm to 7pm slot on LBC after starting her time at the station as a guest initially.
Vorders joined LBC in January when she was sensationally axed from the BBC in 2022 after the corporation introduced new social media guidelines which she felt would mean “losing her voice.”
