Amanda Holden has been tipped to replace Cat Deeley on This Morning following a claim that viewers "haven't taken" to the presenter.
It has been claimed in Woman's Own magazine that This Morning fans "haven't taken" to Cat Deeley since she took over the presenting role in March this year.
In September, it was reported that the ITV show's viewing figures had dropped to less than 700,000 in one episode. Meanwhile, Cat, who currently stars alongside Ben Shephard, said she hadn't "really thought about" it.
The on-screen duo had replaced Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who left the show in 2023 after Phillip was embroiled in a scandal involving what he described as an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a man from the crew.
However, since Cat and Ben have taken over the role, the presenters have reportedly been scrutinised. Cat previously said to the Sunday Times: “Ben will make a joke and it will be, like, ‘He snapped at her!’"

It was also reported that ITV had recruited Cat in an effort to “steady the ship”. In May, ITV released a statement in response to reports claiming the show had experienced a drop in ratings, saying the programme "has never had a better connection with viewers".
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden is no stranger to the This Morning sofa, having initially taken over Holly's presenting role while she was on maternity leave and appearing on the show between 2014 and 2019.
However, Amanda and Phillip allegedly had a feud, with Phillip telling Heat magazine that she kept him on his "toes" and had a "faulty edit button", which he described as "endearing" but "occasionally quite scary".
When Holly set off to present I'm A Celeb, Amanda was due to replace her on This Morning, reports the Mirror. According to the Sun, however, she missed her chance due to Phil.

Sources claimed at the time that she was the top candidate but was blocked by Phillip, who allegedly wanted Rochelle Humes as she was "easier to manage".
In 2017, Amanda shared her thoughts on the role, telling the Huffington Post: "I loved every minute. Holly is incredible but if she ever does finally hang up her stilettos, that's the job I'd really want to be considered for."
Also Cat, who previously hosted SM:TV Live, has previously revealed that she would leave the breakfast show if it had an impact on her mental health.
Speaking to Grazia Magazine, she said she'd "walk away" if something was "affecting" her or she "hated going into work", adding that it's "more important" that she enjoys what she does.
Betfair has quoted odds of 4/1 for Amanda Holden to take over the role, but view Alison Hammond as a more likely option.
ITV has been approached for comment.
