A home security camera captured the precious moment a typically quiet dog found his voice, which left his canine friends stunned and viewers' hearts melting.
Owner Alyssa, known on TikTok as @alyssastephanie, shared a clip of her dogs playing together in the yard. A few kept barking and howling while the pack stayed outside together. But the dogs who were howling didn't shock her. She's used to them making noise with the fluffy white one, Hubble, being the "resident howler."
However, the home's security camera captured what took her and the dogs for a loop: her shepherd decided to join in the noise-making. The dog watched closely how the others made their sounds before trying it out for herself with one long howl.
Shocked by the new voice among the mix, the other dogs immediately turned around and rushed to her. It was her first time howling and they couldn't contain their excitement. They were likely also "confused."

As of Friday, the TikTok video reached 2 million views, 307,300 likes and 726 comments. Not only did the dog's howl touch people's hearts, but users also obsessed over the other canines' reactions.
"I bet it felt so good to howl for her. She's howling from the bottom of her soul," commented a viewer.
A second person wrote: "They were all like 'OH MY GOD YOU FINALLY DID IT oh my god HOW DID IT FEEL!?'"
A third pointed out: "The white one is teaching him."
Concerned about the neighbors, someone wrote: "I love it very much but I'm also glad you aren't my neighbor haha," to which Alyssa replied that she thankfully doesn't share property lines with anyone.
The dog wrote in the comments section that she normally never lets them bark like this. However, this time, she was sleeping and woke up to the howling. Alyssa also mentioned she is currently in the process of buying a home in the countryside. These dogs will soon have plenty of acreage to "live their best doggie lives."
