Charli XCX Goes Full ‘Brat’ Alongside Julia Fox and Alex Consani During Debut Grammys Performance

Charli XCX showed the Recording Academy how to be a Brat during her debut performance at the 2025 Grammys.

The British singer started her live rendition of “360” in a parking garage outside the Crypto.com Arena alongside Gabbriette Bechtel and Alex Consani — two of the stars of the Grammy nominated track’s music video. In true Charli XCX fashion, she created a party atmosphere throughout her live performance, walking throughout the venue accompanied by her entourage before making her way inside the venue.

She went on to perform “Guess,” cultivating her signature party vibe on the Grammys main stage. Charli XCX quite literally recreated a club scene during the performance, where she was later joined by model and socialite Julia Fox. She performed with a group of partygoers as garments flew around the stage, mimicking the track’s music video, dancing around the stage how Charli XCX would. Notably, all unworn garments used during her performance will be donated to domestic violence survivors.

The “Apple” songstress won her first three Grammys during the night’s premiere ceremony, where she took home the wins for best pop dance recording for “Von dutch,” best dance/electronic album and best recording package for Brat. Aside from earning her first few Gramophone trophies, Sunday also marked Charli XCX’s first Grammys performance.

The 2025 Grammys, too, marked the first time the British singer was nominated by the Recording Academy in a decade. She received her first two nods for her 2014 collaboration with Iggy Azalea “Fancy” for record of the year and best pop duo/group performance at the 57th Grammy Awards.

She dominated the 2025 nominations with eight nods, including record of the year for “360” and album of the year for Brat following the record’s viral marketing campaign during the summer of 2024. The project became a significant pop culture moment — deemed “Brat summer” — which linked the singer-songwriter to Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign after Charli XCX jokingly tweeted that “kamala IS brat.”

The “Von dutch” singer followed Brat with a seperate album full of remixed tracks, titled Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat. Equipped with 17 songs, the sister album tapped Troye Sivan, Charli XCX’s longtime collaborator and co-headliner of the Sweat tour, Lorde and Billie Eilish, among others, to offer a fresh sound to the beloved record. She and Eilish’s remix of “Guess” earned them a nod at the 2025 Grammys for best pop duo/group performance.

Charli XCX was one of many artists who performed Sunday night, including Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Shakira, Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE and Teddy Swims.

Trevor Noah hosted the 67th Grammy Awards, which aired live from Los Angeles on Feb. 2. Find the complete list of the night’s winners here.
