Christine McGuinness has candidly shared insights into her post-split life from ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, admitting they "never" talk about one particular subject.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star divulged details about how she and Paddy are managing to co-parent their trio of kids in a fresh chat. As Christine gears up for a new business launch, she was quizzed on whether Paddy cheers her on in her latest endeavours.

She confessed: "I don't know because we never discuss work, so I'm not sure how he feels. We're both keeping busy, and all we want is what's best for our children."

She also let slip her New Year's ambitions, focusing on self-belief and tackling the nagging doubts that often plague parents. Chatting with Woman's Own magazine, Christine reflected: "To try and believe in myself. I think everybody has self-doubt, especially when you're a mum, and you've spent most of your life and your time dedicating it to motherhood and being at home.

"When you step out on your own, you want a career - or suddenly you're single like me in your 30s - then you need to find yourself again and who you are," as reported by the Liverpool Echo. Despite drawing a line under their 11-year union last year, Christine and Paddy still share a home, while Paddy can be spotted spinning tracks on BBC Radio 2, reports OK!.

Last month, reports emerged that Christine McGuinness had lodged an application to trademark the name Goddess by Christine McGuinness, as per The Sun. This isn't her first foray into business, having previously launched a fitness clothing line named VIBE By Christine, featuring leggings and tops, and another brand called Lifestyle by Christine McGuinness.

Christine has been keeping a "busy dating diary" since she started dating again this year. She admitted that she "delayed it" and "wasn't in any rush at all", but then it "just kind of happened" and she met someone on her birthday.

When asked about what she's learned, Christine revealed: "That I'm completely different when I'm comfortable around someone, and I've learnt that the nervous feeling I used to carry – that kind of anxiety – is a physical feeling, which I didn't realise. Yet when you stop feeling that and you are comfortable in your environment, it's not there any more. I thought that was part of my autism – that walking on eggshells feeling. I haven't got that any more."
