Comedian Martin Trenaman, best known for roles in The Inbetweeners and 15 Storeys High, has paid tribute to his close friend, Sean Lock, following his death three years ago.
Sean died from cancer in August 2021 at the age of 58. His agent said at the time that the 8 Out of 10 Cats star was at home with his family when he died.
Over the weekend, Martin shared a heartfelt photograph with Sean and their friends Bill Bailey and Kevin Eldon, during a walk together in 2017.
The actor wrote in the caption on X/Twitter: “The four amigos on a walk in 2017. Tragically we have lost my best pal Sean Lock. We will always be the four amigos though.”
Martin was quickly inundated with support from fans. Louis wrote: “Wonderful photo, full of legends.”

Simon penned: “I like to think the friends we all lose have just popped to the bar getting drinks in and are chatting happily waiting for us.”
Lee said: “Great picture, Martin, I was asked about him at a book talk, felt very sad thinking about him afterwards.”
Jackie echoed: “Great pic. Sean will always be missed. Love watching old 8 Out Of 10 Cats does Countdown with him in it.”
And Dave commented: "Could it be that 15 Storeys High is the only TV show that you all had acting parts in?"
Sean created the sitcom, set in a tower block in south London, as a radio series from 1998 to 2000 before it moved to television from 2002 to 2004. It also starred Toby Jones and Tracy-Ann Oberman.

Strictly Come Dancing winner Bill Bailey paid tribute to Sean on the third anniversary of his death in August.
He penned: "It’s three years since we lost Sean. He’s never far from my thoughts. Miss you old pal."
He admitted that he still finds himself going to text his friend and struggles to come to terms with the fact he'll never see him again.
Bill told youth bereavement charity Winston's Wish in 2023: "The nature of grief means that there are those moments that just they keep happening. Those triggers - you never know when they're going to arrive, and you know never know from what source they'll come or what the catalyst will be. They can sometimes just ambush.
"Sometimes, I see something and think, ‘Oh I should tell Sean’ and I go to text him. I see something funny and think that he’d like that. There’s a location, a piece of music, even a taste and it takes me back."
