“I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years.”

The One Dance singer said his Anita Max Wynn tour — named after his alter ego — is solely in Australia for now.

Whether Perth will be included in the megastar’s tour locations is still to be confirmed after the rapper only listed Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast.

When asked by Félix why Drake had not returned to Australia in almost a decade, the five-time Grammy award winner seemed stumped.

“I love it there, it’s just fire,” he said.

Rumours of an Australian tour have been swirling since Drake posted a mysterious photo to his Instagram story in early November — sending Aussie fans into a frenzy.

The snap showed the rapper in front of the Sydney Opera House alongside a caption that read: “It’s been like 7 years 👀👀👀”.

A website that predicts tour announcements Whats Lively had written it was 99 per cent sure Drake will announce an Aussie tour imminently.

The singer — with 73.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify — is yet to officially announce the tour on any of his other platforms.

Ticketek has posted a waitlist to their website for the tour.

Drake last toured Australia in 2017, performing his Boy Meets World sets to massive Aussie crowds.
