According to a new report in The Wrap, Ellen Degeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have opted for rural England. The 66-year-old former talk show host is taking up roots in the UK with her wife, 51, and they are believed to have no plans to return to the US.

Meghan Markle's pals are set to join celebrities like David and Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Hurley and Kate Moss in the countryside as she leaves her home country after Donald Trump's election.

The pair will settle in the Cotswolds, about two hours drive west of London, and plan to put their Montecito home on the market.

The couple are now reportedly living in the Cotswolds, a rural portion of Southwest England.

Last week, DeGeneres and de Rossi were spotted visiting Clarkson's pub in the Cotswolds.

In October, The Sun reported that the couple had bought a Cotswolds property, so their purchase predates the 2024 election.

DeGeneres and de Rossi join a long list of US stars fleeing the country for the UK in recent years.

Barbie actress America Ferrara is set to relocate to the UK. It was reported that the Ugly Betty alum, 40, was planning to move with her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, and their son Sebastian, six, and daughter Lucia, four.

Actress Eva Mendes and husband Ryan Gosling recently relocated from the US to the UK.

The 50-year-old told The Times last month that she and her husband, 43, were living in Notting Hill, London, with their two kids, adding: "We have access to those communal gardens. Seriously, it's magical."
