Emily Cooper may be unlucky in love, but Lily Collins' real love life is in stark contrast as she's happily married.
While Emily in Paris fans can't get enough of her antics and are patiently waiting for season five, the actress has hinted at wanting to do a London spin-off of the hugely popular Netflix show. The story was left on a cliffhanger when Lily's character Emily started to date a new man in Rome, and was conveniently asked to open a new office in the romantic city.
And while things are heating up with her new Italian lover, with fans expecting another turbulent love triangle after seeing Gabriel's devastation, Lily's life away from the cameras is very different. The 35-year-old is very much in love with Charlie McDowell, who she started dating in 2019, and married in 2021. As more rumours swirl about Emily's next move, the Mirror takes a look at the star's past love life...

PA)If there is one thing Emily Cooper does well, it's updating her Instagram feed, and it seems as if Lily is the same. The London-born actress regularly posts loved-up snaps of her and Charlie, confessing her love to him, and of course, she's always looking as chic as ever.
Charlie, a Hollywood director, met his wife in 2019 on the set of Gilded Rage - a film he directed and she acted in. Lily said it was love at first sight and during an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan she said: "It was one of those situations where I knew the second I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day. So, it was just a matter of when, really."
Charlie then directed a second film his wife was in, alongside Jesse Plemons and Jason Segel titled Windfall in 2022. While the pair have no issue working together, Charlie hilariously confessed to Entertainment Tonight: "The only time it was a little distracting, is when Jesse Plemons, who’s a very good friend of mine, is picking her up and kissing her. I'm like, 'Wait a minute. There's something off about this. My good friend is kissing my then-fiancée'."
But before her love story with Charlie blossomed, Lily had her fair share of Hollywood romances, with her first high-profile relationship being with fellow actor Taylor Lautner. According to Us Weekly, the pair met while filming Abduction in 2010. Taylor said they hit it off 'right away', but their romance came to an end a week before the film premiere, and a source said it was a "clean break" that Taylor had initiated.
Two years later it was rumoured Lily was dating High School Musical hunk Zac Efron. It was only a 'casual fling', with Us Weekly reporting it was only for three months. A source claimed: "They were never serious, though; it was just a casual thing, and it fizzled," and also blamed their busy schedules for not working out.
Stranger Things actor Jamie Campbell Bower met Lily on the set of the 2012 The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, but the pair embarked on a tumultuous relationship, which came to an end in 2013. They then got back together in 2015, but called it quits again after just a year.
In between her rekindling with Jamie, Lily started to date Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel. According to Us Weekly, they met after being introduced by a mutual friend and while there wasn't too much shared about their relationship, it was believed they ended after Lily reconciled with Jamie. In 2015, after her second split from Jamie, Lily had a fling with Captain America star Chris Evans, however it quickly fizzled out in less than a year after a string of romantic and mushy dates together.
Finally, before she settled with her now-husband Charlie, Lily was with Nick Jonas, but the pair split in 2016. A source told Us Weekly that while Nick "really likes" Lily, they were only a "casual fling" and added: "Nick's single and having fun," making it clear they weren't exclusive. Things didn't work out between them and within months, Jonas met his now-wife Priyanka Chopra.
