Are Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke as authentic as they appear on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Well, Erika Jayne doesn’t seem to think so.
Sutton and Garcelle are arguably some of the most down-to-earth Housewives ever. They have some detractors, but their presence on RHOBH is much appreciated. Fans especially gravitated toward Sutton in Season 13 as authenticity became a hot topic of contention.
But her castmates would say Sutton is all too capable of stirring the pot for attention. Beyond stirring the pot, there’s the question of hypocrisy. Authenticity was an issue for Sutton in Season 13. But is Sutton as authentic as she claims? The newly liberated Erika had some thoughts.
Where does Erika Jayne stand with Sutton and Garcelle?
Photo by: Casey Durkin/BravoIn a recent interview, Entertainment Tonight asked Erika about the cast members who don’t share everything. “I feel as if, if I was able to lay it all out there, you should be able to as well.” When asked who should share more, Erika said, “I’d like for Sutton and Garcelle to reveal their lives.”
However, when asked if Erika was privy to things the audience wasn’t, she said, “Not necessarily. But I just feel as if, you know, nothing is as it appears.” As for whether Garcelle and Sutton participate in “fanservice” or “perform” what they think viewers want, Erika partially agreed, “At times, yes,” she said.
Regarding Erika’s current relationship with Sutton, she revealed, “We’re actually decent. I mean, we text back and forth. I’ve never had a better relationship with Sutton. And with Garcelle as well.” Erika also said she wanted to continue working on her relationship with both of her castmates. Of course, just a week ago, Erika called her friendship with Sutton difficult.
