Reality TV legends Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks are yet to officially confirm their romance but the loved-up pair have dropped plenty of hints things are going in the right direction.
Maura, who is rumoured to be heading into the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle very soon, said last month she "adores" the former TOWIE star and described him as "an amazing person" just days after being spotted smooching the Essex heartthrob.
While Maura camps alongside the likes of Coleen Rooney and GK Barry over the next few weeks, Pete will be keeping himself busy rather than pining for his lady as he continues his training and fights for his place in the Strictly Come Dancing final.
The pair were spotted getting quite close at the Pride of Britain 2024 afterparty in the Red Bar at London's Grosvenor House Hotel last month. "Pete did look cosy with Maura at points but he wasn't shy about telling people he was single," one partygoer disclosed. "He was proudly declaring himself single on the red carpet during interviews and even made a joke of not being in a relationship in the bar after the awards."
The Celebs Go Dating star, 36, has been a bit coy about his new relationship but has still gushed about Maura publicly amid the rumours. After being pictured kissing the Love Island icon at the 2024 Pride of Britain Awards, Pete was grilled by his pal Olivia Attwood about his love life.
Starting the conversation, Olivia, 33, didn't mince words on her So Wrong It's right podcast as she said: "Your dating life. Maura Higgins." Pete responded: "Me and Maura have known each other for a long time." Grilling him on his personal life, Olivia pressed: "You've had a kiss, we've seen it! ", and Pete was quick to counter with: "No, you haven't seen it."

" Bursting into laughter, Pete could only exclaim: "My God! ", while an unyielding Olivia shot back: "You don't get awards by not asking the questions!" In a cheeky sidestep, Pete admitted: "One of the biggest problems is my b*******." He elaborated: "Well I'm having to wear like shapewear ... because otherwise Shirley will end up with a couple of black eyes."
Pete, previously known as television's most famous playboy, is rumoured to have been on the single scene for some time. Despite getting a name for himself as quite the ladies' man, he's openly talked about his desires for a more settled life. In a heartfelt chat with The Times, Pete poured out: "I'm nearly 36. I want to get married and have kids. I've been blessed with so many opportunities, but what's the point if I can't share them with anyone? " He went on to say, "Right now, I'm not ready to wholeheartedly commit to a romantic relationship because I don't fully understand myself yet."
Maura, who parted ways with her Hollywood stuntman other half, Bobby Holland Hanton, back in March, discussed her connection with Pete on the We Need To Talk podcast with Paul Brunson last month. When Paul asked if she had 'a thing' with Pete, Maura replied: "We just get on very, very well. I adore him, he's an amazing person. Do you know what's so weird? We met very soon after me coming off Love Island and we just instantly clicked. Our humour is the same. It's like that sick, dark humour. It's very abusive. We abuse each other. Very nasty, it's hilarious."
