Exclusive: Selling the City’s Eleonora Srugo Clarifies ‘Second Virginity’ Comments About Justin Tuinstra: ‘We Didn’t Date’

22 hours ago 2

Selling the City has hit Netflix, and the streamer’s latest real estate reality show is an incredible watch. There is of course, stunning property to marvel at, and millions of dollars on the line. But bubbling under that surface is also a whole lot of tension between the agents that stand front-and-center. One of those agents is Douglas Elliman’s Eleonora Srugo. With a wealth of experience in the industry, she’s put an incomparable team together to take over NYC.

But it’s not just her expertise in the real estate business that is making headlines. Her personal life, and one particular comment she made about co-star Justin Tuinstra, is making waves. “He took my virginity for a second time,” Eleonora quipped in confessional. And we were left confused.

So, we reached out to Eleonora to see if she could elaborate, and she took the opportunity to clarify everything. With context, it makes a lot more sense…

Selling the City on Netflix: Eleonora Srugo and Justin Tuinstra never officially dated

Speaking with Reality Tea, Eleonora explained: “Jade [Chen, co-star] describes my time with Justin as a ‘situationship,’ but it wasn’t even that. I literally hadn’t had sex for eight years because I was building my business. Basically, I was asexual. Justin and I had sex a few times and he helped me break the ice. That’s it. We didn’t date.”

“He was a friend, he did me a favor,” she continued. “We had sex and we stayed friends. It was never a ‘situationship’ for either of us. In fact, I’m always on the lookout for a girl for him.”

It sounds as though the two have stayed on friendly terms, which is great news. Of course, that might not be the case with everybody on the Selling the City cast…

Eleonora also dove into her past with Jade, correcting the timeline. “I met Jade in 2018, so that would not have been 10 years ago. For some of that time, we tried to be close, but most of the time we weren’t in each other’s lives.”

As for the finale, which included that threat to sue from the trailer? Spoilers ahead … Eleonora says she did what “any decent person would do,” in helping Jade exit stage left. Since then, the pair have remained on “just more cordial terms.” Eleonora says she knows “what to expect from her at this point.”

“We define friendship very differently,” she explained. “She was obviously upset that I told Abi [Godfrey, co-star] that she said she looked old, but considering all of the things she had said about me, and truthfully, everybody else on the cast, it was fair game.”

I know the show only just dropped, but can we get a second season already? I need MORE!

Selling the City is available to stream on Netflix.
