A Netflix psychological thriller has an 'unbelievable' 'plot twist' and viewers are raving about it

A psychological thriller on Netflix is leaving viewers 'speechless' over its 'plot twist'.

If you've already binge-watched your way through the second season of Squid Game - yes, it may've only just come out, but what else is there to do on Boxing Day? - then buckle up and prepare for 'one of the craziest movies' some Netflix users have ever seen.

Written by Alan B. McElory and directed by Brad Anderson, the psychological thriller stars Avatar's Sam Worthington, American Horror Story's Lily Rabe, Groundhog Day's Stephen Tobolowsky and Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh.

The story centers around a man named Ray Monroe (Worthington) and what happens after his wife and injured daughter go missing from an emergency room, Ray convinced the hospital knows more than it's letting on.

The film - Fractured - may've premiered at Fantastic Fest in September 2019 and been released onto Netflix in October later that year, but some viewers are only just discovering it for the first time.

Well, Fractured didn't achieve much of a Rotten Tomatoes score, obtaining a tomatometer score of 56 percent and popcornmeter of 53.

However, it was shared to LADbible Facebook Group Netflix Bangers, with a user saying: "One of the most craziest movies i have ever watched. What a thriller!"

"Yes I watched it like two years ago definitely was a good watch with a plot twist," another user added.

A third commented: "Watched this movie after seeing this post… really good one.. worth of my time and thanks for recommending."

And the ending in particular has caused quite the stir online.

A since deleted Reddit user took to thread r/movies to ask for people's thoughts on the film.

They wrote: "Is not the greatest suspense movie of all time but it does the job to entertain you and make you wonder if your theory is the real one. It's in fact a little bit predictable but as i said before until the end you can't be 100 percent sure that is what you thought, the ending explains too much it would have been better if they had left us in doubt about what happened, but its not bad at all. Enjoyable movie, a lot better than the standard netflix films."

And another said: "Just finished watching this one. Had no expectations really. Ended up really enjoying it. Thought it was well acted and it kept you guessing. Thought it got a little bit bats**t near the end and verging on unbelievable, but it managed to just keep it together. I'd recommend."
