Strictly stars are known for their superfit lifestyles, so fans were shocked to see them smoking and vaping during their recent Scots gig.
The Strictly tour is on its way around the UK and thousands flocked to see it at Glasgow’s Ovo Hydro at the weekend.
But followers didn’t expect to see to see dancers nipping out for a sneaky puff before and during the shows.
Wearing his dressing gown with headphones round his neck, pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec scrolled through his phone while he puffed away on his cigarette half an hour before showtime on Saturday.
After the official start time colleague Lauren Oakley, dance partner to JLS star JB Gill, headed out of the stage door with her vape, as did Nikita Guzman and Jake Leigh a while later.
An onlooker said: “I couldn’t believe it when the dancers emerged from the stage door to have a cheeky smoke or vape. You see these guys on telly and think they’re super fit. The tour looks gruelling and it’s not the best, but I suppose they are only human.”
The Strictly tour has been hit by scandal after Welsh “Go Compare” singer Wynne Evans, 53, quit last week over inappropriate sexual language.
