The final preparations are underway for Liam Payne's funeral today in Home Counties, over one month after his tragic death in Argentina.
The One Direction singer's friends and family will come together to grieve the 31-year-old after he fell from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16. Three people have since been charged in connection with his death. Liam, who rose to stardom as a youngster on The X Factor, sustained "serious injuries that were incompatible with life", with an inquiry into his death still ongoing.
Liam's devastated father Geoff brought his son's body back to the UK two weeks ago so that he could finally be laid to rest, and today, Liam's loved ones will say their final goodbye to the singer, who was also an incredibly loved brother, son, dad, and friend.
The former One Direction singer will be laid to rest at a private funeral in the Home Counties where his family and closest friends will attend. The funeral will be followed by a wake.

Cheryl, who shares seven-year-old son Bear, with the singer is also expected to attend the funeral today.
Ahead of the service, preparations are already underway at the church as an array of beautiful flower arrangements have been placed outside the front door of the small church. Early this morning, the flowers were placed above the arch on the entrance to the church, as well as outside ahead of mourners arriving at the service. White roses and autumnal foliage were placed at the entrance of the church as candles lined the path.

The insider told The Sun: "His family have gone to great lengths to put together the perfect service and give him the send off he deserves. Liam may have been a global superstar but to Geoff and Karen he will always be their little boy. It is going to be an incredibly difficult day."
Liam will be buried in one of the Home Counties during a private ceremony closed to the public today. The Home Counties comprise of the counties of England that surround London - Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey. It was initially believed one of the churches near Liam's childhood home in Wolverhampton would be the location of the funeral.
The One Direction bandmates of the late star are included within the list of attendees, along with Simon Cowell. In a joint statement last month, One Direction said: "We're completely devastated by the news of Liam's passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.
