First I'm A Celebrity 2024 campmate 'confirmed' as star spotted at Heathrow

The countdown to I'm A Celebrity 2024 has begun, with the first star confirmed to be heading into camp.

McFly's Danny Jones was spotted at Heathrow Airport, checking in for a flight to Australia, ready to take on the jungle.

He wasn't alone, as Joel Dommett and Sam Thompson were also seen boarding the same flight. The duo are set to host this year's spin-off show, I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked.

Danny was all smiles as he strolled through departures, guitar in tow - perhaps his luxury item to entertain his fellow campmates. The pop star will spend up to three weeks in camp starting next weekend.

The full line-up, which is rumoured to include Coleen Rooney and Tulisa Contostavlos, will be officially announced by ITV in the coming days. Boxing legend Barry McGuigan is also said to be joining the show after Ally McCoist dropped out.

Bookies have tipped Danny Jones as the favourite to win, following his victory on The Masked Singer and bandmate Dougie Poynter's win back in 2011, reports the Mirror.

Loose Women's Jane Moore and Radio 1's Dean McCulloch are rumoured to be joining the line-up, along with Love Island's Maura Higgins. TikTok sensation GK Barry, former Strictly Come Dancing winner Oti Mabuse, DJ Melvin Odoom, radio personality Reverend Richard Coles and Coronation Street's Alan Halsall are also believed to be part of the 2024 cast.

Last year, ex-Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle, much to viewers' delight.
