Danny Dyer learns silver service

Danny Dyer has been given a masterclass in butler silver service from none other than The Fresh Prince of Bel Air's Geoffrey, played by Joseph Marcell.

The beloved TV butler stars alongside the East End favourite in a humorous video where Danny grapples with bowties and afternoon tea setup as he learns the art of impeccable service.

The training begins with a lesson on dressing appropriately, followed by key instructions on becoming an exemplary assistant, which includes going the extra mile and being available at all hours. "Turns out, I know my profiteroles from my crumpets," joked Danny Dyer.

"Who would've thought I'd make a proper butler. It's all about serving up smiles and charm, which is what I'm all about," he added.

This video forms part of Sky Broadband's new campaign emphasising the significance of 24/7 service and its round-the-clock switching support service.

The campaign follows a survey of 2,000 adults that unveiled the nation's top irritations and how they attempt to alleviate them even without a butler to assist.

Spam calls and patchy Wi-Fi emerged as some of the top grievances, with queue jumpers annoying half of the respondents.

The research revealed that 28% believe connectivity issues, such as internet service disruptions, can negatively affect their day, a figure that rises to 51% among Gen Z and Millennials.

Nearly 36% of individuals admit to tolerating subpar broadband services due to the complexity of terminating their contract. But on the flip side, a significant 79% of users believe that having access to a 24/7 support system to switch providers would be a great help.

Amber Pine, managing director of connectivity at Sky Broadband, commented: “We know how busy life can be and it can feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day, which is why we offer our new customers a 24/7 switching support service, so you can get help whenever it suits you.”
