Who are the 2025 swards season nominees and predicted winners for film?
This year is going to be tough for anyone and everyone nominated for their work in film, with stiff competition predicted in every category.
In particular, the best actress category at every awards show is set to be absolutely stacked.
Newcomer on the scene Mikey Maddison has made waves for her performance in Anora, and who could deny Cynthia Erivo's performance in Wicked was anything short of extraordinary.
Other predicted nominees include Nicole Kidman for Babygirl, Angelina Jolie for Maria, Karla Sofia Gascon for Emilia Pérez, Fernanda Torres for I'm Still Here, Pamela Anderson for The Last Showgirl and Tilda Swinton for The Room Next Door.
But based off of the reaction from both critics and fans, as well as the Golden Globes, it seems that this could be the year of Demi Moore, with her predicted as the frontrunner in an incredibly competitive year for her outstanding emotional and physical performance in body horror The Substance.
As far as leading males go, it's tough competition again.
2024 was a year of actor's showing what they're really made of. Hugh Grant has scored himself nominations for his role in Heretic, a horror movie that's managed to make it's way into awards season despite the usual snubs directed toward genre films.
Adrien Brody has been noticed for his role in The Brutalist, but Timothée Chalamet could dethrone him as the youngest person to ever win an Oscar for best actor after the initial reaction to his new film A Complete Unknown.

Other frontrunners include Daniel Craig for Queer, Colman Domingo for Sing Sing, and Ralph Fiennes for Conclave.
But it's Marvel alum Sebastian Stan that has shocked fans this year, with not one, but two awards season worthy performances.
He took home the Golden Globe for his performance in the thought-provoking thriller, A Different Man, but it's his performance as Donald Trump in The Apprentice that critics predict if he is to take out further wins, will be the reason why.
As far as best picture goes, it's wide open for surprises.
The Brutalist and Emilia Pérez were the big winners at the Golden Globes, but many suggest that this might not be the case for the remainder of the season.
The Substance has been applauded as a hyperactive and satirical reflection of the female experience, whereas A Complete Unknown, the new Bob Dylan biopic, has been dubbed as the best musician biopic we've seen to date.
Other contenders include Conclave, Wicked, Anora, Sing Sing, All We Imagine As Light, Nickel Boys and Dune: Part II, but at this stage in the game it really is anyone's race to win.
Who are the 2025 swards season nominees and predicted winners for television?
With so much variety, the TV category is tough. But, there are a few that have proven themselves to be favourites.
Baby Reindeer, the Penguin and Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez stories are three frontrunners when it comes to limited and anthology series, with several cast members including Cooper Koch, Colin Farrell, Richard Gadd, and Jessica Gunning all expected to be recognised for their individual performances.
Although Season 3 of The Bear wasn't as well received as the first two, the cast and the show itself is expected to make several appearances on nominations lists, however maybe a few less wins than previous years.
Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, Shrinking and Hacks are all frontrunners in terms of cast and show.
But it's the Anna Sawai led hit show Shōgun that is expected to sweep the TV categories, taking home wins best drama series, best female actor, best male actor and best male supporting actor at the Golden Globes.

Who are the 2025 swards season nominees and predicted winners for music?
Is it finally the year we see Beyoncé go home with a best album Grammy?
Well, chances are high.
Taylor Swift's seventh nomination for album of the year, making her the most nominated solo female artists in the category's history, but she's up against stiff competition with Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, Sabrina Carpenter's Short 'n Sweet, Charli XCX's Brat and Chappell Roan's Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
While it's not clear who the frontrunner in the category is at the moment, it seems like it's going to be a solo female artist who takes home the top gong.
When it comes to song of the year (recognising composition and song writing) and record of the year (recognising the art, production and sound engineering) it's a female-led fight again.
Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Chappel Roan, and Taylor Swift all make appearances in the nominations, but they're still facing stiff competition from Kenrick Lamar, Benson Boone and Hozier.
But it's the best new artists category that's going to be the toughest fight of them all.
Country star Megan Moroney scored herself a nomination, alongside the soulful voice of Teddy Swims and pop-princess Sabrina Carpenter.
Other nominees include Benson Boone, Raye, Sexxy Red and Shaboozey.
But, despite the well-earned nominations, the frontrunner in the category seems to be none-other than Chappel Roan who we saw meteorically rise to fame throughout 2024.
