Samsung’s Galaxy AI is available in several languages that span the entire world, yet the company knows it could support more. Samsung promises that Galaxy AI will support a total of 20 languages and dialects by the end of 2024.
Galaxy AI encompasses a few new features that debuted at the beginning of this year with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. That series showcased exactly what Samsung’s new AI models could achieve, spread throughout productivity and creative apps. Features like Live Translate for multi-language calls were released with this suite.
Samsung announced that Galaxy AI would be taking on four new languages, bringing the total to 20. This expansion will add Turkish, Swedish, Dutch, and Romanian and is planned to be completed by the end of 2024. Further, the company plans to expand the current support languages to include dialects in traditional Chinese and European Portuguese.
As Galaxy AI continues to expand and become a pillar of what Galaxy devices have to offer , we’d expect to this support expand even further across more languages and dialects.
When these added languages become available, users will be able to download them as packs from the settings app of compatible Galaxy devices. Samsung also notes that support will start rolling out at the end of this month.
