Georgia Kousoulou melts hearts with cute snap of son meeting his baby sister Gigi

Former The Only Way Is Essex stars Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet have welcomed their second child together - and their baby girl is getting along brilliantly with her big brother

Georgia Kousoulou has shared the adorable moment she introduced her young son to his new baby sister.

The 33-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star welcomed her daughter earlier this month - and this is her second child with 32-year-old husband Tommy Mallet. The couple welcomed their son, Brody, in May 2021 and are now proud parents to baby daughter Gigi who arrived on Friday 22 November.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Georgia warmed the hearts of her fans and followers as she showed a photo of Brody affectionately holding Gigi in his arms. The three-year-old toddler flashed a beaming smile and gave two thumbs up as he rested with his baby sister on his lap.

Gigi herself had her tongue stuck out as the camera clicked and looked snug while wrapped up in pink blankets. Uploading the image for her fans and followers to admire, Georgia wrote: "This feeling is like no other. Thank you for all the love." She added a number of emojis to the post too - including hearts and emotional faces.

Fans were thrilled by the adorable snap - with many rushing to comment on Brody's affection for his sibling. One follower wrote in reply: "Awww such a proud big brother." Another typed: "Sooooo precious. The young ... She’s a little cheeky chops already." And another follower wrote: "Big brother approves!!! Thumbs up for little Gigi."

Georgia and Tommy announced their daughter's arrival on Sunday - sharing a snap of the three of them together in the delivery room and revealing she had arrived at the end of last week. Tommy, wearing scrubs, was standing proudly over his wife while she cradled their daughter in her arms. They wrote in a post shared via Instagram: "Introducing you .. GIGI Fordham... Born on 22.11 weighing 7 pound 12. Our darling girl, We are so in love, our hearts could burst. Thank you god for answering our prayers."

Fans were also overjoyed by the scenes, with one writing: "Omg my hearts melting for you and your family congratulations G & T you deserve all the flowers." And another wrote: "Oh my goodness ME!!! Now she is precious guys! beautiful name and what a darling little face."

Back in February, Georgia candidly opened up about the emotional struggle she faced after welcoming her son. She told the Netmums Podcast: "I had a planned C-section because Brody was breach and I walked in as Georgia and I come out as a mum. I got handed a human and they were like, 'Here you go'. And I remember thinking, 'OK, now what? I've never changed a nappy. I've never dealt with a baby at all.'

"I really struggled mentally. And physically, I was just like, what do I do? I really had a lot of self doubt and I think that was like one of the hardest bits." She added: "I just remember crying a lot. I got in a bit of a dark place and I realised that something was wrong because everyone around me was very happy. And I was a bit like, why am I not as happy as everyone else? I started thinking something was wrong with me. I thought, am I not maternal? Am I not supposed to be a mum? I had really dark thoughts and I got into a really dark place."
