Gisele Bundchen is pregnant for the third time, in a revelation that knocked fans off-balance earlier this week. Bundchen's ex Tom Brady -- one of the world's most famous athletes -- was among those who felt caught off-guard by the announcement that Bundchen and her jiu jitsu trainer were expecting a child in early 2025.
Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion who recently joined FOX as its lead NFL analyst, divorced Bundchen in 2022, as he was starting his final season as an NFL quarterback. Bundchen's rapidly-escalating romance with Joaquim Valente -- and its culmination in the Brazilian model's third pregnancy -- has probably stunned Brady more than most.
Inside Brady and Bundchen's chilly relationship
According to Page Six, Bundchen's divorce from Brady cut off lines of communication established during their 13-year marriage. Per an insider, the pair now talks "only when they have to", and their stark personality differences are the chief reason why.
"Tom's great, a very nice, normal guy. Gisele is ... very different. She really blows hot and cold," the insider told Page Six.
Brady and Bundchen share two kids, 14-year-old Ben and 11-year-old Vivian, and Bundchen -- keeping with "her style" -- reportedly kept her pregnancy a secret from everyone until very recently. The 44-year-old is said to be "five or six months" along in her pregnancy, meaning her due date would be in January or February of next year.
Brady only learned last week about the pregnancy -- and that his children with Bundchen would be getting a new half-sibling. It's not expected to change how often the legendary quarterback sees his kids, who split their time at Bundchen's Miami home and Brady's Indian Creek Island pad across the waterway.
"Tom does his best for the kids and puts them first and that's all that matters; he's trying his best," the insider said.
