MARRIED at First Sight star Thomas has revealed he isn’t his new wife Camille’s “type,” as the revelation has made the reality star feel “not good enough” for her.
On Married at First Sight, Thomas, 42, tied the knot with stranger Camille, 32.
In an exclusive sneak peek from the November 26 episode, Thomas revealed there is trouble in paradise with his new wife while on their honeymoon in the Mexican Riviera.
“Just outside, thinking about a lot of stuff,” Thomas said to the camera. “Camille and I have been having deeper talks. She has shared with me that maybe I’m not traditionally the type of guy she dates or… our upbringings are a little bit different.
“Normally I don’t think I would’ve taken it personally, but in this case I kind of did.
“I hope I am good enough for her because we haven’t known each other for that long but definitely there are some kind of feelings there because I care about her and this is for real.”
Thomas then admitted he is being in his “feels” too much.
Thomas joined the series after being “motivated” by his twin’s joy in finding love.
His show bio reads, “His previous relationship, spanning nine years, came to an end due to his reluctance to commit. He’s since focused on personal growth and realized that he often overanalyzes before taking action.
“Ready for a fresh approach, he sees Married at First Sight as an opportunity to leap into marriage before overthinking the decision.”
As for Camille, she is ready for love after establishing “stability in her career”
“She is ready to leave her independent days behind and is excited to find a husband with whom she can build a life,” her bio read.
“As a fan of Married At First Sight, she appreciates how the process removes the guesswork around men’s intentions. She trusts the experts to guide her through the experience and hopes to find her match in this process.”
Camille and Thomas aren’t the only ones finding their new relationships difficult.
On a recent episode, Madison revealed she is having “doubts” about her new husband Allen.
While at dinner, Allen asked, “I know you mentioned the anxiety part, was there something that triggered that? How did that go about for you?”
Madison responded, “Coming off of our wedding was fantastic. Our friends and family were so supportive and got along. We were hitting it off and there was definitely chemistry there.
“I think when by myself, I was just able to really think about okay, this is a lot. We’re actually married. We’re going on a honeymoon together.
"I don’t know this person. And I think it all hit me, but I do really want to have fun with you."
Madison continued, “I think something for me that I always pictured in a marriage or in a really good relationship is excitement. I want dates, I want a lot of romance and fun and I want it to be exciting.”
Allen then said, “I think we have a great recipe for success. I think we’re extremely complimentary. There’s a lot there and I’m happy to explore it.
“But at the same time, I don’t want to give you that anxiety.”
In Season 18, the married couples at first sight are Emem and Ikechi, David and Michelle, Camille and Thomas, Juan and Karla, and Madison and Allen.
Married at First Sight airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Lifetime and is available to stream the next day.
