Gisele Bündchen is ready to become a mom for the third time and she and boyfriend Joaquim Valente are reportedly thrilled about taking this step in their relationship. Even though this is a major life milestone, the duo is reportedly keeping their romance status quo — that means a walk down the aisle is not happening “anytime soon,” per Page Six.

A source told the media outlet that the 44-year-old supermodel and the 37-year-old jiu-jitsu instructor are going to “live together for now.” The reason might have something to do with Bündchen’s 2022 divorce from Tom Brady after 13 years of marriage. “There is a huge difference between them net-worth wise,” the insider claimed. “There is no point in tempting fate as far as Gisele is concerned.”

Valente has a successful fitness business with his two brothers, Pedro and Gui, that has spawned two locations in the Miami area — and even Ivanka Trump has been spotted taking her kids to classes there. He’s worth approximately $1-$5 million, per Stylecaster, but his girlfriend’s fortune far exceeds his. She’s estimated to be worth around $400 million, per Celebrity Net Worth — and yes, she was richer than Brady, who has amassed a $300 million empire. 

Bündchen was at the top of Forbes‘ annual list of highest-paid supermodels for over a decade. Her run spanned from 2002 until 2017 (Kendall Jenner now owns that spot). Her fiscal sense started in the early days of her modeling career. 

“When I was 19 you know people started flying me first class because I was like the model of the year. So now all the clients are paying me, first class,” she explained on The Rich Roll Podcast in March. “I was exchanging those tickets for coach classes because, every two or three days I’m in a different country and instead of paying my rent in an apartment, I put down a down payment for an apartment, and then I was paying my mortgage instead of paying rent.”

The fashion icon isn’t going to make any financial moves that might jeopardize the wealth she built and right now, that includes a marriage to Valente. They might change their minds in the future, but for now, it sounds like they are going to enjoy being parents and partners together.
