Fun fact about me: there's nothing I love more than a celebrity sharing their go-to makeup routine. I know most A-listers have glam teams, so when they actually break things down and do full looks on their own, I'm always all ears (and eyes). Recently, Billie Eilish took to TikTok to share her pre-show makeup, and the video had TikTokers rapt.

Eilish captioned the video, "My everyday tour pre-show glam routine or whatever," and it's already racked up over eight million likes and 74 million views, so, needless to say, people are interested in what she's putting on her face. Users on the app were obsessed with everything from her eyeliner to her lip color choice, but what intrigued me was the products she chose and how well they'd last through a night of performing.

I am, by no means, a performer — unless you count the hours I spend in front of the mirror dancing to my "Meet You at Gran Blanco" Spotify playlist before going out on dates or with my friends. However, I do like to go out dancing and I do occasionally (very occasionally) stay out until two in the morning, so I'm always on the hunt for products that are long-lasting and sweat-proof. And if Billie Eilish is able to get through an entire hour-plus of performing without her makeup melting off of her face, I figured her routine should be good enough for me — but I decided to do a little test of my own anyway. So, I gathered up all of the products Eilish uses in her routine, following her exact steps, and then did a sweaty at-home workout with my heat turned up on full blast just to see how it would fare. Keep scrolling to see how it turned out.

In her video, after applying her skin care, Eilish goes straight into her eye makeup using the Maybelline Tattoo Studio Smokey Gel Pencil Eyeliner in Smokey Brown ($10). I'm not a big eyeliner girl, but I tight-lined my waterline and attempted a very tiny wing like her.

Next, I went in with the Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Eyeshadow Palette in The Neutrals ($50) and smoked out my eyeliner using an angled brush before cleaning it up with some micellar water.

Then, I went in with the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer ($32) and spot-corrected any redness or blemishes I had, blending it out with a beauty sponge. After, I set everything using the Laura Mercer Ultra-Blur Talc-Free Waterproof Translucent Pressed Setting Powder ($52).

I don't typically draw on faux freckles, but I followed Eilish's lead and drew on a few using the Revlon ColorStay 5-in-1 Semi-Permanent Brow Ink ($16), and blended them using my finger. After, I used the Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint Lip and Cheek Blush Stain to give myself a healthy glow.

I followed that up with the Merit Day Glow Highlighting Balm ($32), which I applied to the high points of my cheeks and my nose. I normally fill in my brows with a pencil, but instead I followed Eilish's lead and went straight in with the Merit Brow 1980 Volumizing Tinted Eyebrow Gel-Pomade ($24), and then I set the hair in place using the Got2b Glued Brow and Edge Gel ($8).

After curling my eyelashes, I used the Merit Clean Lash Mascara ($26) to give them color and definition, and then it was time for lips. I used the Sacheau Peel Off Liner Stay-n ($12), let it sit for a bit, and then peeled it off. I went over my lips with the Tower28 Beauty One Liner Lip Liner ($15), and then I was ready to go.

I already had my workout set on, and I had pre-heated my apartment to a toasty 76 degrees. Eilish said in her video that her routine lasts an entire 95 minutes of sweating and running around, so I knew I had my work cut out for me. I started out by doing a six-minute standing ab warm-up using my The Sculpt Society app, stretched my legs, and then got into a 30-minute mat pilates routine, which I completed on my living room rug.

Then, it was time for me to get on my at-home stationary bike. I honestly hate cardio, so this was a drag, but I put on a good playlist and got into it. After about 25-minutes I was over it and wanted to quit, but I figured if Eilish could run around and sing at the same time, I could shut up and bike my little heart out.

I checked out my makeup on my phone's camera every so often while I was working out, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything was lasting fairly well. I even ended up wiping my eyes at one point during an especially difficult few minutes after forgetting I was wearing a full beat, and my makeup didn't even smudge. By the end of my 90-minute workout, I definitely looked a little worse for wear, but my makeup didn't.

If I had to give out awards, I'd give a special shout-out to the Maybelline Tattoo Studio Smokey Gel Pencil Eyeliner and the Merit Clean Lash Mascara — those are going to be used in my daily routine for the foreseeable future. I also couldn't believe how long-lasting the Sacheau Peel Off Liner Stay-n was, even after drinking a sh*t ton of water during my workout. Eilish is on to something here.
