Sam Thompson ran to the doctors ahead of his upcoming I'm A Celebrity appearance.
The former TOWIE lad will be cracking jokes and dishing the dirt directly from Oz on I'm A Celebrity Unpacked, but he’s admitted to visiting the doctor for a little pharmaceutical help to cope with the bonkers filming hours Down Under.
On his podcast Staying Relevant just before he zoomed off, Sam blurted out: "The timings are quite awkward because obviously we are live in UK time. So we go to bed at 4pm every day in Australia and wake up at midnight. Which is going to be wild."

His bestie Pete Wicks – currently strutting his stuff on Strictly – said: "You don't cope well with change and what Sam said to me when he told me this last week is 'I've just been to the doctor and I've got 24 sleeping pills.'".
Sam admitted he snagged the sleepy treats "just in case" and Pete couldn’t help but tease him further: "That was the first thing you did, he literally came out of the meeting with ITV or off the phone and went straight to the doctor and said 'I need pills.'".
Sam is set to join Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers on the ITV spin-off. The new series of the popular jungle contest kicks off on Sunday November 17 with the star-studded lineup unveiled on Monday evening, reports the Mirror.
While most celebs have already touched down in Australia, including Coleen Rooney and GK Barry, Maura Higgins was seen enjoying a date night with Pete before her departure from Blighty. The 33 year old Love Island beauty has been linked romantically to TOWIE's notorious ladies' man Pete, 36, since last month.
The couple were spotted enjoying a romantic evening together on Monday while the I'm A Celeb lineup was being announced. The pair visited the London Palladium theatre to watch renowned 68 year old Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi perform on his current UK tour.
