I created a full-face 'no makeup' look using these Saie products

Award-winning beauty brand Saie is loved across the world for its natural makeup products perfect for creating a 'no makeup' look. I'm a beauty and skincare lover, but I admittedly hadn't heard of the company until recently - and I now wish I'd found them sooner.

Saie burst onto the beauty scene in 2019 and offers a variety of clean products inspired by skin-loving ingredients. The brand's collection includes lightweight tinted moisturisers, gleaming highlighters, stunning lip glosses and much more, which can all be shopped at Cult Beauty.

I was absolutely delighted when a box full of Saie goodies turned up on my doorstep containing several gorgeous products in stunning packaging just waiting for me to try. I cleansed my face and applied toner and moisturiser, then I was ready to dive in.

The first Saie product I applied to my skin was the Glowy Super Gel in the shade sunglow. It costs £16 individually, or you can buy the set of two minis for £20 which also includes a limited edition warmglow shade.

The Glow Super Gel has a dreamy liquid-gel texture that melted into my skin within seconds. My face was instantly glowing - it's the healthiest my skin has looked in months. The gel is enriched with 'complexion-caring ingredients', such as brightening vitamin C, moisturising papaya seed oil, hydrating glycerin and barrier-boosting squalane oil.

It can be worn on its own, as a primer underneath makeup, and on top of makeup for a gleaming finishing touch. As well as using it as a primer, I added a small touch to the tip of the nose, cheekbones and brow bones to finish off my 'no makeup' look.

Next, I applied Saie's Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer (£29) in shade 3 using my fingertips. I previously haven't got along with tinted moisturisers, as I prefer a full-coverage foundation to hide the few spots on my face and the dark circles under my eyes.

I've tried a couple in the past, but unfortunately they either made no difference to my skin or collected in unattractive patches on my face. I can hands down say Saie's Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer is the best I've ever used - it has blown me away.

The product is powered by skin-brightening agents, including vitamin C and liquorice, while aloe vera soothes your skin and sends a surge of antioxidants and enzymes to lock in moisture. It also contains pansy flower extract that supports sensitive skin types, while hyaluronic acid retains hydration and contributes to the dreamy dew-drenched finish.

The shade matched my fair skin perfectly and it absorbed into my skin quickly without feeling greasy. As expected, the tinted moisturiser didn't completely cover my dark circles and spots, but thankfully Saie's Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer (£22) in the shade 5 was on hand to fix this.

I love the concealer applicator which allowed me to specifically dot the product onto the spots and under eye area. The shade 5 matched the tinted moisturiser shade 3 perfectly, and only a small amount of concealer was needed to give me the coverage I required. It's enriched with moisturising glycerin and plumping hyaluronic acid which nourish, smooth and soothe the skin while providing medium coverage.

To finish off the base, I applied Saie's Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder (£25) in the shade translucent using the brand's Fluffy Pinpoint and Setting Brush (£21). Saie says the powder uses its patented Aerated-Cream Technology which provides a weightless formula that delivers a 'bouncy, skin-like finish while reducing excess shine and oil'.

I found the translucent powder set the base perfectly, creating a smooth finish with a healthy gleam without looking shiny. The only slight downside to the powder is the packaging, as I found it quite fiddly to remove the product from the tub, but I imagine with time I'll get the hang of it.

Now that the base was complete, I was ready to add some much-needed colour to my face. I blended the Dew Bronze Soft-Focus Effortless Liquid Bronzer (£20) in the shade sand into my cheeks, hairline, and the sides of my nose using Saie's The Big Brush (£21). Then I used the same brush to apply the Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Flush in the shade chilly onto my cheeks and bridge of my nose. The blush costs £22 or can be purchased as part of the Mini Dew Blush Trio Set for £36.

Similar to the concealer, I was super impressed with the bronzer and blush applicators, as it allowed me to specifically place the product and use just the right amount. Next it was time for the eyes - I used an eyelash curler and then I was ready to go with the jet black Saie Mascara 101 (£21).

I love the design of the mascara applicator (

It contains conditioning beeswax and carnauba wax, moisturising shea butter and a Hydra-Mineral Complex with arginine amino acids to strengthen your lashes. It's safe to say the mascara applicator brush is unlike any I've seen before, with it having tiny bristles around the tip of the brush.

This meant even the smallest of my eyelashes got a swipe of mascara on them, and it helped ensure my lashes stayed separated with no clumping whatsoever. I only applied one coat and the mascara completely transformed my lashes - they stayed curled all day and there was no transfer underneath my eyes.

Last but not least, I applied Saie Lip Liner 101 (£17) in the shade flirt with the Glossybounce Hydrating Lip Oil (£18) in the shade remix which felt so soft and nourishing. The lip combination finished off my 'no makeup' look perfectly, and it stayed on for hours without the need to touch up.

I can happily say Saie's products are now a permanent fixture in my makeup bag, as the glowing natural look I had created in the morning looked exactly the same when the time came to remove it before bed. The quality of the products has totally amazed me, and although there are cheaper makeup brands out there, I believe Saie is worth the money. You can explore the full collection here.

If you'd like to browse more makeup products, Boots stocks a variety of brands including Made By Mitchell which offers similar liquid blush, highlighter and lip liners. LookFantastic also has many beloved makeup brands, such as NARS which has a tinted moisturiser similar to Saie.
