Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, is all set to launch a new smartphone in India today. The firm will announce the iQOO 13, the successor to the iQOO 12 launched last year. Ahead of its India debut, the firm has unveiled the smartphone’s essential specs. The iQOO 13 debuted in China in October. It was one of the first handsets to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The iQOO 13 runs Android 15 and has a 50-megapixel triple back camera set-up.

iQOO 13 price in India expected
A tipster revealed the phone’s India pricing just a few days before the official announcement. In India, the iQOO 13 base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost under Rs 55,000, which is more than the iQOO 12’s initial launch price of Rs 52,999. It is anticipated that iQOO will provide bank and introductory deals for the phone. The 12GB RAM with 256GB variant of the iQOO 13 costs CNY 3,999 in China, while the 16GB with 1TB RAM and storage configuration costs CNY 5,199.
iQOO 13 specifications
The iQOO 13 features a 6.82-inch 2K BOE Q10 8T LTPO 2.0 OLED display with 1,440 x 3,168 pixels of resolution. The display has up to 144Hz refresh rate and HDR support. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The handset operates on OriginOS 5 with Android 15 out of the box.

The phone sports three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It has a customisable “Energy Halo” LED for dynamic effects and 12 colour options. The front camera uses a 32-megapixel sensor.
The handset has a 6,150mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging.
