HBO and Max released a teaser for their upcoming programming — a whole lot of it — on Sunday night.
The two-minute clip (watch it below) contains footage from more than two dozen series set to premiere in the final weeks of this year and in 2025. It also contains previously unseen clips (albeit rather short ones) from 15 shows, including season three of The White Lotus, It: Welcome to Derry, season two of Peacemaker and season four of The Righteous Gemstones.
Also on the 2025 docket for the two outlets are new seasons of The Last of Us, And Just Like That, Bookie, Hacks, The Gilded Age, The Rehearsal and Conan O’Brien Must Go. In addition to Welcome to Derry, new series on deck for next year are Max originals Duster and The Pitt; HBO scripted series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Task, The Chair Company and an untitled comedy starring Rachel Sennott; and docuseries Celtics City and Pee-Wee, As Himself.
The teaser debuted alongside the season finale of The Penguin on HBO and Max.
The ramping up of HBO and Max’s output comes after a relatively light 2024 in terms of series volume. Production on a host of shows was put on hold during last year’s strikes by writers and actors, pushing some planned 2024 premiere dates into next year.
